MGC Quarterly Update – Three Months of Growth, Innovation and Leadership
A Three Month Update – A New Era of Growth for MGC
Majesty Grading Company Ltd is excited to share a three month update that highlights one of the most transformative periods in our history. Since receiving new investment and welcoming Matthew Skeggs to the directors team, we have launched major upgrades across the company that are already reshaping the MGC experience for collectors.
All of the improvements below have gone live in the past three months, marking a huge step forward for card grading, pokemon card grading, sports card grading and every area of trading card grading.
New Leadership – Welcoming Director Matthew Skeggs
The appointment of Matthew Skeggs as director has been a major milestone. Working alongside director Jake Kirkham, Matthew has helped drive stronger strategy, clearer development priorities and smoother delivery of new features and upgrades.
This strengthened leadership has been key to rolling out so many improvements in such a short space of time.
Turnaround Times Improved – Delivered in the Last Three Months
Collectors asked for faster turnaround times, and the past three months have delivered clear results. Investment allowed us to grow our team across all departments and upgrade hardware including computers, grading tools and encapsulation machinery.
These changes have already reduced delays and created a much smoother journey from submission to return. Improving turnaround times was one of our biggest short term goals – and the past three months have shown significant progress.
The New Gradeware System – Rolled Out in This Three Month Window
One of the most impactful upgrades within this period has been the rollout of our revamped Gradeware system. Although the development work began long before, the full launch and implementation took place within the last three months.
The new system now allows for faster logging, more efficient grading and fewer errors across the entire workflow. It has immediately strengthened accuracy, reliability and internal processing for MGC.
Tracking Accuracy – Our New Reporting System Goes Live
Another major feature delivered in this three month update is our grader reporting system. This technology, which has been in development for some time, officially launched during this period and now ensures every grader remains aligned with MGC’s strict grading standards.
It tracks consistency, time spent per card and overall accuracy, ensuring collectors receive true, reliable grades every time.
A Brand New Submission Portal – Launched Within the Last Three Months
We also introduced a completely redesigned submission portal. Collectors can now upload images, enjoy a clearer process and instantly receive an auto generated PDF submission form.
Although planned and built over a longer period, the final version was launched within the last three months and has already made submissions easier, faster and more accessible for all customer types.
The New MGC Pop Report and Grade Reveal – Delivered in This Update
One of the most celebrated upgrades of this period is the introduction of the MGC Pop Report with Grade Reveal. This feature has been incredibly well received and gives collectors instant access to population data along with full transparency of card grades.
This project was in development for a while, but its official release took place during this three month update window.
Community Growth and New Partnerships – All Progress Within Three Months
The past three months have also seen rapid growth across the wider MGC ecosystem:
- Our partnership with SGB, a leading UK auction house, went live in this period.
- MGC Live grew to more than 25,000 followers, becoming one of the largest UK based live communities.
- Staff expansions, new processes and improved team structures were all delivered within the same window.
The combination of investment, leadership and team effort has made this one of the most productive periods in MGC history.
A Three Month Transformation – Powered by Investment and Vision
Everything achieved over the past three months is the result of careful planning, long term development work and the focused drive of directors Jake Kirkham and Matthew Skeggs. Their leadership has made it possible to bring multiple major systems and improvements online in such a short period.
This update marks only the start of a much larger vision for MGC and the future of UK grading.
