The UK Card Awards Are Back – and So Are We

It’s that time of year again. The UK Card Awards powered by eBay are back, celebrating the very best in the collecting world – and once again, Majesty Grading Company (MGC) is right in the mix. After winning Grading Company of the Year two years running, we’re going for the hat-trick in 2025!

We’re incredibly proud of what the MGC team has achieved so far. From revolutionising sports card grading in the UK to expanding internationally, every step has been powered by the collectors who trust us to protect and showcase their cards. This year, the competition is tougher than ever – which means your vote matters more than ever.

The Collectors Showcase – Where It All Happens

This year’s UK Card Awards ceremony will take place at the Collectors Showcase, one of the biggest and most exciting card events in the UK calendar. The show brings together collectors, traders and grading companies from across the country for a weekend of hobby celebration.

The event is hosted by Jordan Gorman, the founder of the Scotland Card Show and a key figure in the UK collecting scene. The judging panel features some of the industry’s most respected voices: Jamie George from CGC and SGB, Dominic Thurlow-Wood from eBay, and Aaron Clarke from Grading Club.

With that level of expertise behind the awards, being nominated – let alone winning – is a huge honour for any card grading company. And with your help, MGC is aiming to make it three in a row.

Collector of the Year – Alex Tillbrook (Brongoballing)

We’ve also got another huge reason to celebrate. Our very own Head of Sports Grading and lifelong collector, Alex Tillbrook – known in the hobby as Brongoballing – has been shortlisted for Collector of the Year. Alex was recently featured by Topps for owning the world’s largest Antoine Griezmann collection – and even received messages from Griezmann himself and several Atlético Madrid teammates.

It’s an incredible recognition of dedication, passion and love for the hobby. From his knowledge of sports cards to the way he supports collectors across the UK, Alex perfectly represents what the MGC community is all about.
