Grading Scale

Accurate Grading

Every single card, sticker, pack and ticket is graded in our Hertfordshire UK office located at the business and Technology centre by the highly professional team at MGC. We use the latest security, machinery and data logging technology that is available.

The grading process at MGC is consistent on Every card, sticker, pack and ticket regardless of value, age or brand. The MGC team will adhere to the same process every single time to ensure each collectable receives the correct grade.

MGC have invested in advanced authentication and grading equipment, including devices that perform ultra-microscopic AI Video inspections and precisely calculate centring.

Our grading process follows the standard grading measures like the majority of the worldwide organisations such as PSA, Beckett, SGC and CGC.

 MGC GRADING PROCESS

Step 1

Authentication

A MGC grader will review your card, sticker, pack or ticket for authenticity. If genuine, MGC looks for any view of tampering, such as adding colour or trimming the collectable.

Step 2

Grading

If your card, sticker, pack or ticket goes through authentication, an MGC grader will assign the collectable a grade on the MGC grading scale of 10 to 1 + the authentic grade, with achieving a MGC 10 being best.

Step 3

Encapsulation

MGC encapsulates each collectable in its own ultra-sonically sealed, the card, sticker, pack or ticket's grade and individual serial number are shown on the
MGC Secure Tech™ label.
